Safeguarding Improvement Plan Overview 2024-25

Key Action
Governors to renew and new governors undertake NCSL Training (Autumn 1)
Family Support team to check definitions and ensure attendance policy is used
to ensure all key staff are aware of the correct actions taken around pupils
missing from education.
Business Manager to review policy and associated documents to ensure these
are fully compliant and stakeholders are sure of their duties in terms of
allegations.
Business Manager and Computing Lead to ensure all procedures around
monitoring and filtering are maintained, and incidents followed up
appropriately, including reporting to FGB.
Family Support Team to ensure staff are aware of referral processes to Early
Help.
MHWB lead to ensure appropriate feedback and supervision for emotional
well-being support staff and train second Mental Health Lead using DFE
funding.
